We are driving AI forward in factories - together with Smart Electronic Factory e.V.!

We are very proud to have joined Smart Electronic Factory e.V., and look forward to realizing projects together.
The following press release was published:

“Limburg a.d. Lahn, April 21, 2024 - In many factories, there are regular unplanned failures of individual machine components, which can shut down entire plants and production facilities. The AI-based maintenance assistant from aiomatic solutions (
www.ai-omatic.com) detects the condition of machines and deviations from normal conditions in real time, so that potential failures can be avoided and their causes can be remedied. This solution represents the potential of artificial intelligence for manufacturing companies. As a new member of the “SEF Smart Electronic Factory e.V.“, ai-omatic solutions GmbH brings AI expertise for joint use cases that benefit German SMEs.

“According to a study by Siemens from 2023, there are around 3.3 million lost working hours per year due to unexpected machine downtime. Profitability and efficiency in production depend largely on plant availability, which can only be ensured with effective maintenance. AI processes can enable the early, automated detection of anomalies and potential problems,” explains Lena Weirauch, CEO & co-founder of
ai-omatic solutions GmbH.

aiomatic has developed AI-based
maintenance software that functions as a digital maintenance assistant. In contrast to traditional reactive maintenance strategies, the preventive approach enables timely planning of maintenance measures. By analyzing machine data in real time, companies can implement a Predictive Maintenance strategy, minimize failures and extend the life of their systems.

As a new member of SEF Smart Electronic e. V., the AI specialist will work with the association to help promote using artificial intelligence in factories. The specific goal is to set up joint use cases to optimize machine processes and reduce error costs as well as to develop self-learning machines in line with Industry 4.0.

Lena Weirauch explains: “We want to make the potential of artificial intelligence accessible to German SMEs. At Smart Electronic Factory e.V., we can test and validate new solutions and technologies under real conditions in the smart electronics factory of member Limtronik to ensure that they meet industry requirements. ”

The first joint use cases include the development of a system to optimize maintenance planning and the further development of data analyses to identify bottlenecks and optimize manufacturing processes.”
